Module 16: The Yurok Nation-Social Studies 3 - Course Guide


Module Overview:

In this module, students will learn to synthesize knowledge of human-environment interaction with new information about the Yurok nation, apply concepts of the beliefs and customs of the Yurok people that guided their lives, and describe the economy and systems of government of the Yurok people. They will identify the elements of folklore traditions of the Yurok people and identify the roles of conflict and cooperation in the interactions between the Yurok people and European settlers.
